OS on a browser
Yup! It's called eyeOS. If u have got a web domain with php enabled in it. Then just put the folder(unarchived file which u will have 2 download from eyeOS site) in the DocumentRoot Directory & OS is ready for run.
If u wanna experience it on ur system then download this. Follow the readme instruction, it's very simple. Then start ur Apache, place eyeOS folder in the DocumentRoot and http://localhost/eyeOS/index.php . Things are ready to rock. uuuumazing. It has got very common stuffs like Calendar, Calulator, notepad, phoneBook, Messenger(eMail), commonMessageBoard,trashCan, AddRemovePrograms and internetBrowser(yup it has got a internet browser). This is built on a technology called AJAX . There is whole host of web apps built on it. These are web Apps using JS and XML. [Example: Gmail]. There is host of apps churning out using this technology. There is a ERP pack, CRM pack, watever u think of other than video/music player. Wot say?
Note: I had few problems running it in IE6.0 . It ran flawless in my Mozilla 1.0.6

by wat bleep definition can u say that its an OS on a browser :D :=)).
They themselves have said that its not an OS.
